You can call the camp and let us know what time you’re coming and we will have your child in the office ready and waiting for you.

How often do campers swim?

***John Abbott College is still undergoing major renovations to rebuild and modernize its pool and locker room facilities. Unfortunately, this means we will not have access to the pool for Summer 2026 ***

To keep everyone cool and having fun this summer, we will continue to enjoy outdoor water games and activities at camp. Instead of taking all campers at once as we did last summer, we will instead be taking smaller groups of campers at different times throughout the week to the Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue Outdoor Pool, which is just a short walking distance away.

Prior to any pool outings, families will receive weekly swimming and safety information. More details will also be sent regarding permission for your child to participate, as well as any specific swimming guidelines or safety requirements you may have for your child, such as the use of a life jacket, etc.
We look forward to another fun-filled summer and will continue to share more information as we get closer to the start of camp!

Can I register my child for one week of camp only?

Our programs require a 2-week minimum registration. The two weeks do not have to be consecutive unless registering for 'The Studio' programs.

If my child is on the bus, how will I know when they will be picked up and dropped off?

***If your child(ren) will be taking the bus, you will receive a weekly Jotform to complete indicating which central bus stop your family will be using for that week.

How would I go about changing my child’s registration or canceling if I have to?

You can make additions to your child’s registration at any point by visiting the registration portal and logging into your account. There is no charge at any time to change weeks (however, some programs and weeks may be full).  If at any point you need to cancel your registration in part, or in whole, please contact the camp office. After May 1st, 2026, there will be an administration fee of $60.00 per week for each week that is canceled.

Can I register my child in more than one program?

That’s the beauty of Sunny Acres. We offer many different programs and we encourage you to mix and match to try them all!

Do you take the campers on field trips?

Accepted Answer

Unless your child is enrolled in a specialty camp that includes off-campus activities accompanied by our private school bus transportation and staff supervision, campers will remain on campus throughout the camp day.

The only exceptions are Teen Zone campers, who may occasionally walk to the  Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue village with staff supervision for a treat or activity, as well as campers participating in scheduled pool visits accompanied by our staff.

What if I can’t pick up my child by 3:40 pm?

If you are late, your child will be brought to our extended day service in the Casgrain building. You can pick them up anytime before 6:00 pm.
